Salvia dorrii dark form

A paticularly delightful form of Salvia dorrii. The deep blue flowers contrast well with the silvery foliage. This might be Salvia dorrii var. dorrii. All forms of this Salvia are very reluctant to flower in the UK. I have managed to germinate seeds, but flowerless plants resulted. Thanks to Dr. Scott Zona for the photograph.
