Salvia benthamiana
Not much is known about this rather spectacular Salvia from the Rio de Janeiro region of Southern
Brazil. Whilst the flowers resemble those of some Mexican species, the leaves are more rounded. It
is thought to be autumn/winter flowering. This Salvia has recently found its way to Europe, and
is currently being tested. Photo by Thierry Guegdes.
