Salvia 'Imelda'
Another chance seedling from the greggii x microphylla Salvias, this was discovered in Jim Curry's wonderful garden
in Hertfordshire, England. This Salvia has a lovely muted orange colour, is floriferous, and so far has remained
fairly compact. It does resemble a French form, Salvia 'Ribambelle' but seems to be more floriferous. The colour
of the flowers could clash with others with the same parentage, but this has never bothered me!
A great introduction. Photograph by Rolando Uria.
