Salvia guaranitica from Cosquin

Another beautiful form of Salvia guaranitica discovered in a garden at Cosquin, near Cordoba in Argentina. This has lime-green calyces, which are reminiscent of those of Salvia mexicana 'Limelight'....but this is without doubt a guaranitica. Cuttings and seeds have been collected. Seeds, IF they germinate....guaranitica seeds are always reluctant to do so.....will hopefully come true, as there were no other Salvias in this garden.
