Salvia bowleyana (foliage)

This is a picture of the lime-green foliage of Salvia bowleyana . The similarity to that of its close cousin, Salvia miltiorrhiza can be seen. But the flowers are quite different. I would only recommend this Salvia to collectors and enthusiasts, as it is not an ornamental species. But another useful introduction for the National Collection Holders.
